A Malayan tiger calling out for his mate . She wasn't in the exhibit and he kept calling for her .I have never heard a tiger call before , it was quite soft for such a intesne animal ! Couldnt believe how big his teeth were ! Took this at the FTW zoo in TX . Here is a more calming shot of him [link]
